Our Flag Is Still Waving ... even after defeat

Even though our favorite football team, The Philippine Azkals, lost to the higher- seeded Al-Azraq (The Blue) of Kuwait, their journey is still on going. The Azkals' mission was to spread the news about the "Beautiful Game", is a done deal since people caught the epidemic out break of AZKALITIS. The team lost to the FIFA ranked 102 (now 95), while the Azkals ranked 159 (now 162), on an aggregate 5-1. Even after the game lost, the fans still remain loyal to the team. It is rare to see or have fans that would remain loyal to you, even though you are amidst the controversies. The team remains positive with what happened. Their next game would be on late September, in China, for the Long Teng Cup 2011. This Asian Cup started last year, in which Philippines ended up third in a cup for four countries, which are Hong Kong  U-23 (champion), Chinese Taipei (runner-up) and Macau ( 4th place). During this cup, the top goal scorer was Philippine's own Ian Araneta with four goals. this time around the Azkals has the chance to win the cup since they are currently the highest-seeder among the four countries (excluding HK U-23, since they are not ranked, because they are not the national football team of HK) and because of the experiences, conditions and matches that they have went through. And to top it all off, it was confirmed that Stephan Schrock and Neil Etheridge will be available for the Long Teng Cup, since their football clubs has allowed the. So I wish all the best of lucks to the Philippine Football Team, The Philippine Azkals !!!!!
